BIPAP masks is used when you have impaired breathing issue such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD), pneumonia, obstructive sleep apnea, asthma flare-up, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, neurological disease that disturbs breathing or poor breathing after a medical operation.
BIPAP (bilevel positive airway pressure) mask is a type of ventilator that helps with breathing. It has dual air pressure settings one for when you inhale and second for when you exhale, differentiating it with other types of ventilator.
