(244 products available)Black Phenyl is a dark brown to black coloured liquid that is prepared with the use of castor oil. It is in fact a mixture of two liquids such as light creosote oil and water with soap. In order to make the Black Phenyl so good in quality, creosote oil is used that contains carbolic acid, creosol and other homologues of phenol. This mixture now becomes germicidal with an adequate addition of creosote oil.
