Computer cabinet can be made of different materials, including plastic, aluminium, steel (electro galvanized, coil, cold-rolled), glass, acrylic, wood or Lego bricks.

Computer cabinet, also known as computer case or system unit, is the highly-secured enclosure with fitted, removable & vented panels used to store major components of a PC, excluding mouse, keyboard, & monitor.

Computer cabinet types include: desktop cabinet (height < width) which is designed to sit on the desk below PC’s monitor, & vertical tower (height > width) which is designed to sit on the floor. Tower case types include full-tower, mid-tower, midi-tower, & mini-tower.
