Structural Description:

A Key Tassel basically consists of a :

Cord or rope : Which is used to hang the tassel

Head: End portion of key tassels, where yarns are wrapped

Neck or Collar :These are repeated tight wraps of fiber. These neck portions are decorated with molds and finial for covering the joint between collar and skirt. Molds or finials are made from wood, ceramic polymer clay, beads, crystals etc.

Skirt: The two common types of tassel skirts are cut and bullion. If the edge of tassels is cut, then these are cut tassels and if the ends are wrapped or twisted then these are bullion tassels
