About Pass Box

A pass box serves two purposes i.e., to transfer materials between two controlled environments of different rooms, and to prevent, eliminate or minimize airborne cross-contamination. Material beings transferred are: samples, goggles, gloves, weighing balance & other lab equipment. Its two types are static pass box and dynamic pass box. The latter incorporates vertical HEPA filter to remove large-to-small particulates from the surface of the material being passed.

Both are extensively used as a hygiene & safety measure in chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, microbiology laboratories, food and beverages, etc. A pass box is made of high-quality metal with fine surface treatment, such as galvanization or powder coating, which improves the structural integrity of the system and enhances its durability.
